Quilting & Sewing Classes

Through its quilting and sewing classes, Patches serves as a community sewing center that promotes the arts of quilting and sewing.

We emphasize the creative practice of reusing, recycling, and refashioning their garments and other fabric-based goods. We enjoy inspiring younger generations to take up a lifetime of sewing and quilting–and encouraging seasoned quilters and sewers to join in the fun and sense of discovery.

Quilting classes include:

  • Featured and mystery patterns
  • Applique
  • Machine quilting
  • Hand quilting
  • Foundation piecing
  • Binding
  • Color and design
  • Beginning, intermediate, and advanced skill enhancement
  • Personal projects
  • Longarm quilting

Private classes may be offered during or after hours.
